For two centuries, the remnants of humanity have been struggling to survive without electricity or light. But there is a spark of hope.

In 2221, survivors find Lumen, a crystal of high energy power that may be the last chance for humanity. The Explorers, brave miners, founded an underground settlement and ventured into the darkness to reach the nearby Lumen deposits. But darkness has swallowed them up, as underground caves and tunnels hold as much danger as salvation.

Lumencraft offers several game modes to suit your play style. A 27-mission campaign takes you through the complete narrative of humanity's struggle for survival. Experience procedurally generated maps and roguelike-style combat. Or maybe create your own level in the editor or try out what the creators and users of the Steam Workshop have prepared for you.

Custom game types (eg.G. Tower Defense, Action, Survival or a combination thereof) with user-defined starting technologies/upgrades and objectives allow you to test your scouting skills in any environment. Invite a friend to play locally or via a remote Steam game and dive into the darkness together.

MAP EDITOR

Easily create stunning maps with variable terrain and a variety of objects to choose from. Invite friends to play on your custom map and define game types, starting technologies, upgrades and goals. We hope the community will create many great maps for the Steam Workshop.
